Caroline Marks Is Crushing the Surfing World

Caroline Marks is the youngest surfer to qualify for the World Championship Tour. We could leave it there, and you’d still be impressed, but this 18-year-old is also headed to Tokyo next summer for the 2021 Summer Olympics. When Marks first started surfing on her brother’s hand-me-down board, she was just known as ‘Luke’s little sister.’ But several winning titles later, this Florida native had made a name for herself as one of the best up and coming female surfers. Marks recalls knowing that surfing was exactly what she wanted to do with her life after winning at the 2013 under-12 World Championship; from then on focusing all of her energy around the sport.

For Marks, surfing began as a way to impress her brothers. However, today, she’s not only pushing the limits of the sport, but also acting as a huge inspiration for other female athletes. Looking up to the women that came before her in the sport, as well as in other disciplines, Marks hopes to become that figure for the women that will come to surf after her. Also, she’s dying to take Billie Eilish surfing so if anyone’s got a plug on that, it’s a video we’d love to see.

Even though the beach has banned surfing for the year, we’re still getting footage from those that made the trek to surf some of the world’s biggest waves. But not all rides go well. In this POV video from Kai Lenny, he loses his board while getting towed out by a jet-ski. Nazarè's waves look huge with someone surfing them, but they look even bigger from Kai’s perspective down in the water. Luckily he’s rescued by a jet ski quickly,

Watch Remy Metallier and Mike Douglas Cruising in Whistler

A freeskiing legend and a ripping French mountain biker on a classic Whistler trail? It’s a match made in heaven. I remember seeing Mike Douglas in the first ski films I ever watched, i.e. he’s been a pro skier longer than I’ve been alive. But what does he do in the off-season? Apparently, he’s also really good at mountain biking. In Rémy Métallier’s new video, Douglas shows Métallier down one of his favorite bike trails in Whistler, British Columbia. Even though Douglas is a pro skier, he

Remy Metailler Shares Some Winter MTB Tips and Tricks

Just because it’s gross and wet outside doesn’t mean you have to stop riding you mountain bike this winter. Well, that is if you live in a place where the trails aren’t covered in feet of snow from November through May. For those of us lucky enough to live (or at least spend time in) areas like the PNW or the Southeast, riding on sloppy and wet winter days is a great way to improve bike handling skills and make our riding that much better when things get fast and loose in the dryer months of
