Arctic Surf is the Definition of Ice Cream Headache

Scott Dickerson and Taylor Paul along with a couple bottles of Mountain Dew, (not sure if you caught the subtle sponsor plugs) head up Aialik Bay outside of Homer, Alaska for some good old-fashioned arctic surfing. I had to put on a sweatshirt just watching this video. The waves looked like they could give you an ice cream headache through the screen.

Love the adventure aspect of these cold water surf edits. For me, it is a similar attitude to the "earn your turns" philosophy. The waves might be better elsewhere, but as our esteemed compadre Jeremy Jones states,"the journey is the reward."
