Xavier de Le Rue Shreds Pure Ice In The Alps

If there's anything to say about Xavier de Le Rue, it's that he gives very few f*cks about getting gnarly. With that reputation, it should come as little surprise that the fastest guy to ever ride a snowboard would be the first to go heli boarding exclusively to ride lines riddled with sheets of ice.

In this webisode mimicking a New Englander's wet dream, Xavier heads into the Alps late in the spring with his brother Victor and steep skier Samuel Anthamatten to rip some alpine lines either entirely or partly rimed over with blue ice. After all, it's not just faceshots and powder... or crotch ice sculptures... or ice cream. Sometimes, ice just demands to be ridden.

For more people absolutely sending in conditions other people would skip for the bar, see also: Johan Jonsson–the guy blasting in sh!t f@ck conditions.
