​VIDEO: Creating the Mountain Revelations Film Tour Poster

One of the final parts in the puzzle of creating a feature length snowboarding film is deciding what’s going to be featured on the film tour poster. It’s a part of tradition here at TGR to work with some of the best artists and photographers to create a piece of artwork worthy of representing the film on a single page. For Mountain Revelations, Lamont Joseph White took inspiration from a photograph Matthew Tufts shot while on location in the Alaskan wilderness to create the film poster. Much of White’s other work is focused on representation – including an entire series focused on featuring Black faces in ski gear. The Mountain Revelations film poster, like the film itself, continues that theme.
