The Vans Snow crew is back to wrap up 2020 with something that’s not as weird as the rest of 2020. Their film Evergreen seeks to combine all the best parts of Vans' last three projects in one harmonious shred-fest. Bringing classic snowboard film street style combined with a backcountry section that made us remember why we love winter, this film hits all the bases. Featuring riders such as Hana Beaman, Pat Moore, Mark Landvik, Jamie Lynn, and others, Vans hits the nail on the head with this one in portraying the friendships and drive that goes into the sport. We’re stoked to keep hitting replay on this until Vans invariably comes out with something better in 2021.
Know what time of year it is, folks? That's right, it's Freeride World Tour time. Well, actually it's Freeride World Qualifier time, but that means it's almost Tour time. The first Qualifier event takes place in Hakuba Japan today. With better weather than they've seen the last couple of days and more snow than last year, we should see some incredible riding from the athletes. The rankings currently have Isaac Freeland and Arianna Tricomi in first for skiing and Nils Mindich and Marion Haerty
If there was one phrase to describe Trevor Kennison, it would be ‘doesn’t give up.’ Paralyzed from the waist down in a snowboard accident while riding Vail Pass, Kennsion didn’t think he’d get to experience snowsports again. After rehabbing at Craig Hospital, his sister convinced him to give sit-skiing a try. Since then, Kennison has made waves in the ski community as not only an incredible athlete, but a true bright spot in the sport. Kennison’s unbeatable style and attitude caught the eye
We’ve found the thing you didn’t know you were looking for: twenty whole minutes of good old fashioned urban snowboarding. The boys at Spotheads have provided us with the goods and boy, do they provide. Top notch street riding mixed in with a healthy dose of carnage all cooked together with friendship make this film everything a snowboard film should be. Big kudos to these boys for throwing down and holding nothing back for our entertainment even if it meant a couple face-to-concrete impacts
