Stoke the Fire Athlete Edits: Mikey Marohn

Mikey Marohn. The only Stoke the Fire athlete who slides downhill sideways. The mustachioed mystery man. The dark horse. The longtime Teton local snowboarder stands out in more ways than one in this year’s film. He’s one of those few Jackson locals who’s actually from Wyoming, having left his home of Casper in search of bigger mountains to kickstart his pro career. When it comes to finding creative lines in the Jackson backcountry, he’s the man to follow. Whether its mega booters, spines, pillow lines or just some good old-fashioned pow slashes, he shows off the area goods alongside Tim Durtschi and Kai Jones in Stoke the Fire, which by the way, is still on tour and is now available for digital download here.
