For most 10-day backcountry filming expeditions, it takes weeks of planning for success. Our camera crew had around 24-hours to assemble gear and provisions to execute our latest backcountry snowboard film Roadless. We were at the mercy of mother nature, who ultimately greenlighted the expedition with an unusually long bout of high pressure in February. With the weather looking good, it was all hands on deck. It says a lot about the Teton Wilderness that three world-class snowboarders—Bryan Iguchi, Jeremy Jones, and Travis Rice—felt out of their element when they first arrived.
