TGR’s new film, Jeremy Jones’ ‘Life of Glide’

Inspired by a poem he wrote long ago, big mountain rider Jeremy Jones summons his greatest influences and dissects his lifelong passion for the simple and sacred feeling he calls, "The Glide" in TGR's new short film "Life of Glide."

Watch as Jones traces his passion for sliding sideways from old Craig Kelly parts and footage of Tom Curren at Jeffreys Bay, to his present-day obsession to crafting a snowboard that can recreate the effortless feeling of gliding upon a glassy wave.

With the help of his close friend - surfboard shaper Chris Christenson - and with the spiritual guidance of the ageless shaper Skip Frye as well as Curren, Jones embarks on a journey from the breaks of San Diego County to the peaks of the Eastern Sierra. The end result? A merging of his two greatest loves - surfing and snowboarding - into an experience that channels the pure essence of The Glide.

"Life of Glide" is available exclusively on Tetongravity.com and is presented in partnership with O'Neill.

John Jackson And Jake Blauvelt Head South For Chile’s Blower Pow

John Jackson saved the best for last in the final episode of the second season of his web series, "The Book Of John J." Ending the sophomore season with an Andean adventure, Jackson and Jake Blauvelt headed south of the equator for a trip that started out with 100-degree temps in the desert and ended in the gnarly windblown steeps of the Andes. After the two got their fix of blower champagne powder in Chile, it was time for the crew to seek refuge in a plush backcountry hut right smack in the
