How Cam Fitzpatrick and Bryan Iguchi Prepare for the Winter

Bryan Iguchi and Cam Fitzpatrick have long had a mentor/mentee relationship in the mountains. Fitzpatrick was raised in Iguchi's adopted home of Jackson Hole and they built their relationship in the backcountry, the older rider sharing the secrets and tips that come from years of riding these legendary mountains. More recently, Fitzpatrick has found offseason purpose at  Crossfit Jackson Hole at Teton Sports Club.

The same movement that has created heroes of such figures as Rich Froning and Mat Fraser is now helping some of Jackson's snowboarders prepare for the rigors of the mountains. Under the tutelage of Teton Sports Club trainer, Tim Gibbons, Fitzpatrick has spent the past years training in the gym so he can perform in the mountains. More recently he has brought Iguchi into the gym so they can train together.

When we met up with the pair the workout of the day (WOD) was "Adrian". This workout is named after U.S. Army Sergeant First Class Adrian Elizalde, 30, of North Bend, OR,  of the 2nd Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne). He died on August 23, 2007, in Baghdad, Iraq, of wounds sustained from an improvised explosive device.

Now in Central Oregon, Tailer, Nick, and Danny find themselves touring inbounds of a ski resort located on a volcano, Mt. Bachelor. The change of pace and mindset that comes with being inbounds brought on an unfortunate event that left Tailer to sit on the bench while Danny and Nick ventured back into wilderness to climb the North Sister. Although on the bench, Tailer did her part in route planning for the guys and sending them off on the one and only volcano of the trip accomplished with

Continuing North in the Bus, Danny and Nick have now joined forces with Tailer Gray. Linking up with a fellow mountain guide and tiny home creator, Parker Smith, to get the grand tour of his backyard and favorite mountain. After a rowdy experience, they made their way North to a chosspile, Mt. Thielsen, where an exposed scramble to the summit lured them up.

What happens when you let snowboarder Phil Hansen plan an RV trip from Vancouver to Banff with a crew of 15ish idiots in tow? Well, this happened…along with a whole bunch of other shenanigans that everyone in the video is probably happy we left on the cutting room floor. Coal and Lib/Gnu teamed up Beauty and the Beast-style for a springtime road trip that left them all surprised they weren’t banned from Canada. Riders: Phil Hansen, Naima Antolin, Matteo Soltane, Kaleah Opal, Darrah
