In this season's first edition of Burton Presents, Mikkel Bang explains how the crappy snow in Europe drove him to British Columbia. There he joined up with Canmore, BC native and Whistler-based pro Mikey Rencz for a sled trip through the BC backcountry, and later, a quick stint at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.

Amanda, Nick, Jaime, and Danny make their way to Rainier National Park. Finding a mostly comfortable campsite outside of the park to prepare for their biggest climb yet. Venturing onto glaciated terrain, new skills, tools and mindsets are brought into the picture. The first windy summit greets the group making for a variable and exciting ride down.
Danny and the ladies have to part ways and Nick is left to finish the ring of fire for the team! He meets with Tailer’s friend and co-guide, Jeff Quadre. Two new friends, fresh snow, and more glaciated terrain. Ending the journey with the first cloudy summit and pow turns was “a bit emotional” for Nick and “really set in that this project was complete”.
