Bluebird Wax's team roster packs a ton of marquee names. This company has a huge, core following not just because the wax rocks, but because it's made for snowboarders, by snowboarders. These are the guys that literally sell bumpers stickers saying, "Snowboarding...it was better when you hated us."
Their movie, Bluebird Sessions, is on par with this no-bullshit approach. It's pretty refreshing to see a snowboard movie, featuring an array of talented riders hitting couloirs and backcountry booters (and not a single urban jib) to music that, you know, features actual instruments. Aside from the insane level of riding, the coolest part about Bluebird Sessions is that the film doesn't exclude the sometimes unpleasant, sometimes wacky idiosyncrasies of backcountry travel. It celebrates them. Enjoy this dose of quirky reality from the men of Jackson Hole.
