Biggest Smile in Snowboarding: Peter Limberg

Raised in central Wisconsin, Peter Limberg cut his outdoorsy teeth at Granite Peak resort and honed more than a few notches of tricks in the streets. An inarguable observation: Limberg is never without a contagious smile or a hardy laugh, regardless of having a tumble or a straight-arrow landing.

As seen in Interior Plain Project’s Shapeshftr, he throws down inventive combos, unique lines, and some harrowing maneuvers. (Big points for the super smooth wall ride: that switch frontside 180, buttery tail-press to 360 out. Topped off with, yes, a huge grin.)

The film’s mission is to hand creative ownership back to each rider for independent style—inspired by the sport’s earliest, most sovereign days.
