Asadachi: An Extremely Short Film by Foster Huntington

Photographer/videographer Foster Huntington became the source of many a man crush in 2011 when he quit his high-profile job in New York City to live out of his van and travel the West.

In his short film, "Asadachi," he teams up with Quiksilver snowboarder Bryan Fox and journeys to the powder capital of the world--Hokkaido, Japan.

While the United States, and large parts of Canada and Europe have suffered below-normal snowfalls this winter, Japan has had a banner year. Fox and Huntington, both Pacific Northwest natives, took the opportunity to temporarily ditch the states and hike for some seriously deep snow in the Hokkaido backcountry.
