The skydiving team over at Redbull is always thinking of new ways to fly through the air. This time around, they went back to their childhood roots for inspiration: they built a swing set. This swing set, however, was made with hundred foot long ropes dangling over the side of a hot air balloon. My stomach drops watching these guys launch out of the basket, but it’s unsurprising that after a few swings, they move on to what they do best - jumping off the swing and free falling towards the ground.
Despite their notoriously short arms, T-Rexs are pretty strong at bouldering. Check out what may be the first dinosaur ascent of the Iron Man Boulder in Bishop, CA. The real question: can it be considered a clean ascent with all those tail dabs?
Following a format first seen in the snowboarding and skiing world, this year’s X-games real wake segments feature some incredibly creative, and not to mention gnarly riding. Felix Georgii’s entry is not your average wakeboarding behind a boat on a peaceful mountain lake, but something more akin to a skateboard edit, with huge bails and even bigger tricks.
Compared to the western states, the east coast tends to get a bad rep when it comes to certain sports, but kayaking is certainly not one of them. A crew of boaters headed to North Carolina in search of some nasty whitewater, and what they found was nothing short of impressive. Steep rock slides, big drops, and a bunch of nasty foliage make for an impressive run down this creek.
