Throwback: Sammy Carlson Spinning Switch Off a Ski-Flying Jump

How many of us have watched ski jumping in the Olympics and thought about how cool it would be to see freestylers hit that same jump? Probably a good few, at least. Luckily for us, there's no need to use our imaginations—Sammy Carlson did it back in 2015 while filming with TGR for The Sammy C Project.

Sammy successfully spun a few tricks off the jump, including a switch 540, before getting bucked on a 720 and nearly flying into the metal posts lining the jump's landing. After a break of a few years, we're excited to be working with Sammy again for our upcoming snow film!

It’s probably the years of experience he’s gained in the type of terrain that encourages that kind of skiing, or maybe it’s some sort of god-given talent. But either way, we’re always fired up for McNutt to be a part of our team. This

Bobby Brown Rips Breck

Bobby Brown Rips Breck

Bobby Brown reminds us once again that he's a master of all ski disciplines. One week, he’s hucking features in the backcountry, the next, he’s showing us his skills in the park. This top-to-bottom park edit of Bobby has us googly-eyed over his hand drags and 540’s. Seems like a bluebird day riding rails at Breckenridge is just what the doctor ordered for those early season blues, and Bobby Brown is serving it up.
