The Time Griffin Post Backed Away From A Line

During a trip to southern Wyoming to film for Paradise Waits last year, Griffin Post hadn't gotten a single shot for his film segment in the bag, and the sky had just popped a perfect blue. Unfortunately, along with the clear weather came tons of red flags: natural avalanches, shooting cracks through the snow, and other sings of stability.

As Griffin talks about above, some days, no matter how much pressure you might be feeling to get the best skiing in, sometimes you just have to make the conservative call, head home, and be proud that you did.

The fine folks at Atomic graced us with a little mini-edit on Friday titled "Digital Style | Utah," that was a modern-day homage to ski movies of the '80s, combining the grainy footage and overly contrasted colors of yesteryear with the progressive skiing of today.
