The Countdown to the FWT 2021 is ON!

With the start of the new year, we’re finally in full swing for all things winter! It’s a time for skiing bottomless powder, hitting the skintrack to work off all the holiday roasts we ate over the last week, and getting stoked for what’s right around the corner: the start of the 2021 Freeride World Tour season. In case you missed it, things are going to look a little different this year, with COVID-19 precautions forcing the FWT to preemptively cancel the Kicking Horse and Hakuba stops of the tour, but that doesn’t mean the remainder of the stops won’t be all time. The first stop in Ordino-Arcalis, Andorra is just a little over a month away, and we’re fired up to see our favorite freeriders throw down in a few weeks.

Happy 2021 to all of the readers and contributers of this website

For them, it's easy to get into the routine of making ski films, so with this one they sought to break the mold, and boy did they.

No Pow in Colorado? Time for Steezy Park Laps

Here at TGR, we're all about deep pow and big lines, but what does that mean for low tide years? For Newschoolers, it's chill parks laps to dial in their freestyle. Skier Jack Finn is taking full advantage of a low snow year in Colorado, and hitting the park like it's his job (it might be). With no shortage of rails, jumps, and even a lil' double rocket grab in there you can find all the park fixins here. In classic Newschoolers style, they've topped off this treat with a banger

The Fifty: Behind The Book

What Cody Townsend is doing with his project might be one of the most refreshing things to happen to the ski world in a while, but let’s not forget he’s not the first to do it! The whole project is based on the book America, written by Penn Newhard, Chris Davenport and Art Burrows. Cody only has 20 lines left to climb and ski, but most of those won’t be safe to ride for another few months, so he took to the time to give us a little rundown of the history of his project, in between ripping
