After being cooped up for two months in Italy during a COVID-19 lockdown, Markus Eder couldn’t wait to get back to the mountains. To celebrate the newfound freedom, Eder and some friends embarked for a spring camping mission in the alpine. The group skinned up to a breathtaking ridge and called it home for the evening.
It’s a different change of pace for the FWT 2019 champ. Instead of throwing massive tricks and picking out spicy lines, Eder is simply happy to be outside. It’s something we can all take away from lockdown: gratitude for the little things. For Eder, that’s being outside with good people and linking up a few slushy turns.
