Three minutes will get you to the top of the new Skyway Monte Bianco tram on the Italian side of Mont Blanc. The tram ends at 11,500 feet, and an abundance of couloirs and ski lines have greeted skiers at the top for decades.
The Saloman ski crew meets up with Oscar Taiola, a mountain guide and safety manager for the Skyway. Taiola is addicted to high mountain living, and in the first episode of this season's Salomon TV, he recounts the history of the old lift and the new.
And then, skiers Tony Lamiche, Alex Pittin, Kaj Zackrisson and Josh Daiek do what they do best.
