No shortage of Style With Colter Hinchliffe in Terrace BC

Out of everyone on the TGR roster, Colter Hinchliffe doesn’t seem to get any older. The Aspen-based freeskier is most known for his playful fervor in the mountains. This was only heightened in Far Out, presented by REI when he teamed up with longtime friend  Tim Durtschi, and new guy  Parkin Costain to explore new terrain in Terrace, British Columbia.

The combination was trouble in the making. There was no shortage of shenanigans, because with a rambunctious crew like that, would you expect anything different? Regardless, like a bunch of backcountry ninjas, the crew went to work finding the goods. From the looks of it, they scored absolutely perfect conditions.

Colter Hinchliffe is one of my favorite freestyle skiers. His skills and control over the board are just amazing. His precision with the stunts has always astonished me. Doing backflips even on a steep downhill line is something only he can do so perfect.

Easy. A lot of the stuff that these guys are doing is tough to put into words, but its definitely dope.

Meet Bozeman local Rob Enigl, one of Big Sky's most aggressive big-mountain sit-skiers. He's completed the first known sit-ski descents of Gullies 2 and 3—some of the steepest lines off Big Sky's Lone Peak. Oh, and it turns out he’s really good at pond skims. Not only does he make it all the way across the pond, but he does it in remarkably smooth fashion.

Jackson Hole has a lot of cliffs, and Daniel Tisi takes full advantage of that fact. The young ripper won TGR's Grom Contest back in 2011 at the tender age of 12, and he's only gotten better since then. Having grown up in what is arguably the meat-hucking capital of the North American ski-scene, it's no surprise that he gravitates towards drops.
