Thanks to unfavorable snow conditions and weather, the Freeride World Tour is still on hold in Andorra. After canceling the competition on Saturday morning, athletes continue to play the waiting game. A small snowstorm is expected in the next few days, which might be enough to cover up the currently boilerplate conditions on the venue. Skies will likely clear Wednesday night to allow possible competition Thursday or Friday.
In other news, the Freeride Junior Tour went off without a hitch on Sunday, and the next generation proved that the sport has a bright future. We can’t wait to see these young guns in the big leagues in a few years.
