55 Hours in Mexico documents one nine-to-fiver's stubborn, stupid attempt to keep up with his full-time athlete buddies by summiting and skiing the third-highest peak in North America, Mexico's Pico de Orizaba, in the span of a single long weekend. Starting with a redeye from Denver to Vera Cruz, the crew leaves themselves just 55 hours to get from sea level to Orizaba's 18,491' summit, without acclimatizing, and make it back to the airport and on time for work on Monday.

If the pure ridiculousness of the mission isn't already obvious in a perfect world, when the normal allotment of mishaps starts to enter into the equation–lost bags, underpowered rental car on jeep roads, etc.–what sounds good on paper gets more outrageous with every step up the mountain.
