Everyone knows that tele skiers are kind of just cooler than the rest of us. But watching this video really confirms that freeing the heel really does free the mind when it comes to freestyle skiing. Just some nice tele turns on a powder day look pretty beautiful, but watching French skier Mikael Garcin drop a knee switch is a whole different level of aesthetically pleasing skiing. These moves are sendy for anybody but doing them on teles brings a whole new level of steeze. Maybe one day we’ll get up the courage to try tele skiing, but until then, we’ll just be jealous that their powder days are that much deeper than the rest of ours.

The first Qualifier event takes place in Hakuba Japan today. Coming from someone who lost half of her favorite pair of ski socks last night (Smartwool x Chris Bentchetler's, of course), I'm not really sure if there ever is a good time for matching socks. But there's definitely a time to break out of your every day routine and do or find or send something new. That's exactly what the Bunch was after with their new film.
