For the past two Januarys, Mattias Evangelista headed east to the powdery playgrounds of Japan. In this truly beautiful short, "This is Japan," Evangelista simultaneously captures the stunning depths of Japanese culture and pow. 

In Evangelista's words, "This is a place unlike any other. A place where old meets new, where tradition clashes with modernization and where beauty meets chaos. What's left is a culture so rich and diverse you have to see it to believe it."
