Candide Thovex is Back with Another Insane “One Of Those Days” POV Edits!

Candide has done it again! If you remember One of Those Days, Candide Thovex's original mind-bending POV video in which "cruising around" his home mountain of Balme, France consisted of playing slalom with skiers coming up the rope tow, throwing double backflips and cork 900s off of the mountain's incredible natural features, and gapping everything in site–from cat tracks to bystanders to police cars.

One of Those Days 2 ups the ante–somehow–in almost every regard. You'll have to watch it for yourself...

Yup I love him. Did everyone else also cringe when he skis over the rocks? Eesh. I guess it matters less when you have 20 sets of free skis back at home :P

That video was insane !
I didn’t know about that under the rock feature, I’ll have to check it next time.
BTW the resort name is La Clusaz, the Balme name is just for one of the peaks/zone..

Correct title - “One of Those Days”.  C’mon, Dunfee - at least proofread your shit!
Regardless, it’s still the sickest POV edit ever made.

    I’m blowing it (again)! Fixed…

so much for the SEO benefits :(

Check Out Red Bull’s Full Film About the K2 Ski Descent

Exactly two years ago, on July 22, 2018, Polish ski mountaineer Andrzej Bargiel made history by becoming the first person to ski off the summit of K2. We’ve seen photos and short video clips from the adventure, but we’ve had to wait until today to finally see the full film and story of the first descent. It took Bargiel over 60 hours of solo climbing to reach the summit (sans supplemental oxygen) before he clicked into his skis and linked turns the whole way down. The feat put him on the map

WNDR Alpine Drops New Algae-Based Vital 100 Backcountry Ski

Last winter, a new ski brand joined the fray with a special trick up their sleeve. WNDR Alpine was making high-performing, really fun backcountry skis using a totally new technology: algae-based composite cores. We got a chance to sit down with founder Matt Sterbenz (who you might remember being behind 4FRNT) last fall to learn about the technology in their original ski the Intention 110, and you can read more about that here. WNDR Alpine just released their second ski, the Vital 100, and

After a few months of severely limited skiing opportunities, it's no surprise that professional American freeskiers descended en masse on Mt. Hood's newly-reopened terrain park during July. The star-studded list of attendees included (but was not limited to) Torin Yater-Wallace, Quinn Wolferman, Tom Wallisch, Colby Stevenson, Birk Irving, Trevor Kennison, Cody Wilder Ray, and Cody LaPlante.
