Paragliding and Mountain Biking: Our New Favorite Combination

From first glance, Kilian Bron’s video feels like your usual bike edit: until his bike suddenly lifts off the ground and starts soaring above the trees.

No, the professional mountain biker hasn’t redefined the laws of gravity. In his latest clip from GoPro, Bron gains some unique assistance from paraglider Eliot Nochez. Redefining what it means to drop in, the professional biker sends it from mid-air flight. If jumping from mid-flight wasn’t sketchy enough, Bron’s landing zone is an icy field of snow in the French Alps. Which, judging from his speed, is perfect if you're not a huge fan of using brakes. Bron’s latest antics on his bike are not surprising, considering the Frenchman has already biked down the glaciers of Mont Blanc in the Alps and the exposed cliffs of Madeira. Watch as he and his (literal) wingman for his shenanigans, chase each other like the strangest game of cat and mouse you've ever seen.

Mountain biking is something I never could do properly. For some reasons, I get so much scary when taking steep downhill portions and I canon printer repair will lose my control in such situations and will crash. But paragliding has been always my favorite. Combining both these seem pretty cool idea.

Crankworx Rotorua 2019 Kicks Off With Dual Slalom

While we might all still be buried under one of the deepest snowpacks we’ve seen in awhile in North America, our mountain biking brethren just kicked off the first stop of the Crankworx 2019 World Tour in Rotorua, New Zealand. A gathering of like-minded shredders, Crankworx acts as a celebration of sport and a lifestyle we all share – and comes at a time of deep sadness for the community after the nation’s recent violent events.
