Answered: How Did Candide Ski on that Wave?

Candide Thovex and Audi's quattro 2 is chock-full of shots which strain credulity. Did Candide really land that double-backflip to dirt? How did he manage to ski at top speed into that hut? Did he catch that wave on his skis? Accusations of overt editing have plagued the Flying Frenchman since the One of Those Days series, but his new behind-the-scenes series is pulling back the curtain on his enigmatic edits.

One of the more mind-boggling shots from quattro 2 shows Candide skiing a wave straight onto a Jamaican beach. While it's not hard to surmise that Candide probably didn't paddle out to the break with his skis on, his new BTS reveals even more trickery than we expected. In a wild turn of events, it turns out that the ski-surfing was shot in two wave pools, one in Spain and one in Wales.
