Angel Collinson Hits Terminal Velocity in Alaska - Behind the Line: Season 7 Episode 2

Buy sure to check out Angel Collinson in TGR's Almost Ablaze. Now available on Itunes!

Angel Collinson is making huge waves in the traditionally male dominated sport of big mountain skiing. This year she became the first female to open a TGR ski film. Her mind-blowing segment earned her further recognition, becoming a finalist in the Banff Mountain Film Festival.

Get into the female psyche of Angel as she heads to the steep mountains of Juneau, Alaska with veterans Sage Cattabriga-Alosa, Ian McIntosh, and Dana Flahr. Witness as she learns from both from the mountains and her experienced male counterparts. During this process she tests and expands her own abilities and comfort zones. In the end she showcases her newfound mastery of big mountain skiing; gaping a spine into a huge air at mach speeds

Such an inspiration to us ladies! Thank you!

That first line is ridiculous. What impresses me is how humble Angel is in this environment.

She’s got a rad attitude towards everything. Makes it all seem fun when it’s actually really f***ing scary.

The final line Angel skis in this vid might just be the shot of the flick for Almost Ablaze. Loved seeing the POV of that.

Loved hearing Ian narrating the line. He is so stoked to see his friends getting rad.

I’m stoked to see you getting rad in the comments section Jon. Congrats on the date!

So we’re taking it down this road, are we, Olaus?

These lines are almost as badass as the lines J. Desabris will be flashing at the “cowboy dancing” venue in Jackson this week. Seasoned cowboy dancers are claiming first descents of all kinds will go down from the fledging Rhode Island dance student.

In other news, Angel is channeling some serious Jodie Foster “Contact” warp speed energy, because no workout I’ve ever done has gotten me in shape enough for straightlines like that! (Drops mic)

(picks up and inspects mic for damage, muttering “…this is why we can’t have nice things…”)

    final line for sure….whoa
