What do you get when you put a soccer net at the base of a jump and give a ball to a group of Norwegian freeskiers? The most epic combination of skiing and soccer we've seen.
While the soccer we’re used to watching is played on a flat pitch, we prefer this take on the sport. Filmed in Geilo, Norway, a group of seven skiers had a classic 3-v-3 tournament...except there was only one goalie. And no referee. And it was played on snow.
Skiing park is hard enough, now imagine punting a ball with one of your planks at full speed without falling over. Sounds like a disaster, right? Well, these boys make it look easy, save for a few wipeouts.
This match between Team Ronaldo and Team Telemark might be the most entertaining soccer game to come out of Norway for a while; there’s a reason we’re still watching it 3 years later.

These people are indeed crazy. It is difficult for me to ski even on a surface like this. Playing football along with skiing is indeed a tough thing and they have executed it so well. And the video has been made so wonderfully.
