It was the early 2000’s and Sage Cattabriga-Alosa was just a kid — working as a dishwasher in Utah — and all he wanted to do was ski.
Close range helicopter tracking shots were pretty cutting edge in skiing and snowboarding at the time, and TGR was testing them out at the Pyramid Gap in Utah’s backcountry. Local boys, Sage Cattabriga-Alosa and the Collins brothers were there and were excited about the filming concept and on hitting the 90 foot gap.
Sage absolutely crushed. That’s when Todd, Steve, and the rest of the world really learned how bad ass Sage was.
At that point it was apparent that Sage was going to throw down the dishtowel and become who he is today.
