Video: 350-Foot Ski-BASE Jump Off the ‘Icefall Line’

Many freeskiers are constantly on the lookout for cliffs to jump off. In general, the rule is simple: Bigger is better. That only holds true up to a certain point, though. Even the most audacious cliff-hucker will think twice about hitting an 80-foot cliff.

For some, the drive to jump off bigger and bigger cliffs never subsides. While a rare few opt for the Jamie Pierre strategy and send it regardless, most skiers looking to huck bigger than 100 feet or so end up in the realm of ski BASE. It's far from safe, but unbeatable if you like seeing nothing but thin air beneath your skis.
