We’ve all been the new kid before. But when you’re the new kid on an expedition with all your heroes in the middle of nowhere, things look a little different. In her first year as a North Face athlete, climber and photographer Savannah Cummins made the trek to Antarctica to do some big-wall climbing. Accompanied by legends Jimmy Chin, Alex Honnold, Conrad Anker, and Cedar Wright, and her climbing partner Anna Pfaff, Cummins was a little out of her comfort zone on the expedition. However, seeing her photos and the lines she bags, you’d never know. The most used phrase in this film is "where the f*ck are we?" but the expertise and grit shown by Cummins and the rest of the crew in some of the world’s harshest conditions makes them seem right at home.
