Video: Teens Save 8-Year-Old Falling From Chairlift

Falling off a chairlift has got to be up there on the list of skiers' worst nightmares.  Depending on the chairlift, it could mean a 60-foot fall onto hardpack or over a cliff.  In either case, the odds are good that serious injuries will be sustained.  Unless, that is, a group of quick-thinking teenagers comes to the rescue.

Looking at the scene captured from further up the lift, it's incredible how quickly the onlookers devise a plan to cushion the 8-year-old's inevitable fall.  The plan works to perfection, and the landing looks remarkably soft.
