#TGRlive: All TGR Shop Profits Going To Australia Fire Relief

If case you’ve missed some of the biggest climate news of the recent weeks, Australia is being ravaged by massive bushfires. The scale of the 136 current fires is unprecedented, with the government declaring mandatory evacuations. 2019 proved to be the country’s driest and hottest year on record, which has only exacerbated the infernos. At this point, millions of acres have burned, 20 people have died, and half a billion animals were killed. Australia is in need of a serious hand, so we are donating all of our TGR shop profits to aid in the fire relief efforts through Thursday 1/9.

As the Australian bushfires continue to rage on, Selwyn Snow Resort, a beloved ski resort in the Snowy Mountains of New South Wales, was destroyed over the weekend. According to ABC News, all of the resort’s buildings were burned, but thankfully there were no casualties. In addition to the resort, 780,000 acres have been burned.
