VIDEO: COVID-19 is Turning Jackson Into a Ghost Town

It’s rare to see Jackson Hole empty. The town is typically alive with tourists and locals teeming through the streets. But now with COVID-19, the town of Jackson is joining the effort to slow the spread of the disease by hunkering down. These days, the town is starting to feel more and more like the old west days—except no horse and buggy.

Cinematographer Ryan Halverson—who also filmed our latest short film Punch Through It—used the quiet time to get a one-of-kind perspective of the town. Normally flying a drone through town would be dangerous, but the lack of people and vehicles gave Halverson a chance to capture what has become a beautiful but eerie ghost town. Stay strong Jackson, we've got this!
