Scary Video of a Kayaker Swimming Down a Flooded River

With spring well on its way, the rivers of the Pacific Northwest are in full flood stage. In this video professional kayakers Aniol Serrasolses, Rafa Ortiz and Ben Marr rescue a fellow boater who went for a swim in the flooded Wind River.

For anyone who has run rivers before this video is terrifying. There is an abundance of strainers, rocks, and wood on river right. The swimmer was in the water for over three minutes, getting a serious beatdown in the process. I'm glad Aniol was able to rescue this guy before something more serious happened.

Stay safe out there.
