Epic Winter Kayaking in Mexico

Unless you live in the PNW or the Southeast, odds are all the rivers near you are either frozen or too low to run. That's why when winter comes, many kayakers flee to South America where the water is warm, the drops are big, and the bootie beers are replaced with tequila shots. Home to some of the best winter classics, Mexico certainly provides with rivers like the Alseseca, as well as famous drops like Big Banana. Dagger Kayaks team rider Logan Smith took full advantage of the Mexico season getting a first decent on Rio Oro and bagging the crystal clear drops of Agua Azul. We'll be living vicariously through edits like this one until the Snake unfreezes...
