TGR Optics Has Launched

With years of expertise working with the finest Zeiss camera optics in the world, pushing the limits of sport in the most extreme environments on the planet, Teton Gravity Research is stoked to announce the arrival of TGR Optics – a line of our very own premium goggles. Tested by TGR's athletes and crew, TGR Optics have been subjected to the most extreme conditions by the best athletes in the world. These state-of-the-art ski and snowboard goggles feature Sonar Lens technology designed in collaboration with Carl Zeiss. The TGR Team went to the Zeiss Headquarters in Varese, Italy to work with their team to craft lenses made for every condition. Years in the making, TGR is proud to introduce snow goggles that set the standard in the ski and snowboard industry. We are introducing two goggles, the Further and the Uprising, available on pre-order here today.

TGR is offering an exclusive week-long VIP Pre-Sale with 40% off available until 10/4/19.

The Further Goggle:

Simply put, these are goggles designed to take you Further. They feature a toric frame with a classic look and innovative technology. The frames feature MI3 magnetic interchangeable lens technology for easy lens swapping when conditions change. The next in the evolution of spherical goggles, toric is the new standard in non-cylindrical frames, providing a massive field of view without any distortion or glare effects.

The Further Goggle (left) and the Uprising (right) are available for preorder now.

Which ones to get? I see one is cylindrical the other not, but don’t know how this effects performance/comfort/vision?

Is $175 the 40% off pre order price?

No photochromic lenses?

Sure, being a tourist in the Tetons usually doesn’t require much more than a rental car pulling an RV, but in order to get to the really cool spots, you’ll need a fully-capable vehicle. SRAM Updates Eagle Drivetrain With New Colors and 52-Tooth Cassette

It seems that this year, SRAM and Rockshox are all about incremental upgrades to their bike components. Instead of completely reinventing the wheel, they decided to refine and update their already amazing Eagle 12-Speed drivetrain. The big news is the new 10-52 tooth cassette, giving the drivetrain an unprecedented 520 percent gear range, available across the GX, XO1, and XX1 ranges. In other words, you have no more excuses about not getting up that climb. The new cassette is designed to be

WNDR Alpine Drops New Algae-Based Vital 100 Backcountry Ski

Last winter, a new ski brand joined the fray with a special trick up their sleeve. WNDR Alpine was making high-performing, really fun backcountry skis using a totally new technology: algae-based composite cores. We got a chance to sit down with founder Matt Sterbenz (who you might remember being behind 4FRNT) last fall to learn about the technology in their original ski the Intention 110, and you can read more about that here. WNDR Alpine just released their second ski, the Vital 100, and
