Experience the Life of Living Legend Rodney Mullen

What can you say about Rodney Mullen that hasn't already been spoken or written by people much more talented than myself. The Mullen essentially created the modern discipline of street skating, inventing tricks that have become the bedrock of a $5 billion dollar industry.

This X-Games profile dives into the early days of the skater and examines his career with interesting introspective. For a more detailed look, I would highly recommend Stacy Peralta's documentary, The Bones Brigade.

They can vary from a dry trickle to a knock-your-Chacos-off kind of current. And as this park ranger reminds us in the best possible way, don’t be stupid. Check the weather, wear a life vest, and perhaps bring a paddle. Happy Friday folks, and stay safe out there this weekend.
