Blast From the Past: This 1985 Newscast of Skiers Hating on Snowboarders is Absurd

It's pretty crazy to see a bit of what it was like to be a snowboarder back in the day, before it was fully 'accepted' as a respected snowsports discipline (at least in Canada...). And now, how far it has come.

The sport has progressed from being an activity that, according to this newscast, was performed by "a bunch of smart alecs lipping off" to being a valued sport practiced by some of the best athletes in the world (who, let's be honest, still probably 'lip off' from time to time).
