Kilian Bron is pretty notorious for riding things on his bike completely off the radar. His list of daunting accolades include a few oddities like tandem para-mountain biking, carving down glaciers and weaving through Inca ruins.
And it appears Bron is ready to continue expanding that list, as he has launched a new video series titled "Mission," with the stated purpose of finding more quirky places to ride.
For the premiere episode he surfed down the world’s highest sand dune with his bike. Cerro Blanc—in the heart of Peru—is a sandy behemoth that rises 6,568ft from the desert floor. Bron was inspired to hit it after witnessing Jesper Tjader ski it for GoPro. If hiking your bike already didn’t suck, their crew did it for five hours straight up a shifting sand dune. Their reward for the considerable effort, one giant beautiful roost down the side of Cerro Blanc.
