WATCH: Kenny Smith Sends Squamish…on an E-Bike

We’re all about trying new things. But yup, we were surprised too when Kenny Smith, ever the freerider, decided to ride Squamish’s biggest line on a 50 pound e-bike.

A huge fan of the rugged, steep, and slick, Smith sent it back to his home territory of British Columbia for some insanely difficult terrain. He rides the uphill using absolutely ALL of his leg muscle on the e-bike, a testament to athleticism and manpower. Well, no not really. But those lines are still impressive.

Regardless of his set-up, Smith still drops some classic Squamish rocks and somehow manages to not slip out on wet boulder faces. And he makes it look damn good.

Shot in the mossy, foggy wonderland that is Squamish, with nothing but a bike and its big ol’ battery pack, let’s just say the short film is...electric.
