Racing mountain bikes is always fun – but it’s a whole lot more fun when you get to do it alongside a crew of about 200 of your newfound best friends. That’s exactly what the vibes at the Sturdy Dirty – the premiere all-women’s enduro race held annually in the loamy woods of Washington – are all about. This year, of course, was no different. Racers gathered at Issaquah, Washington’s notorious Tiger Mountain trail network to compete on a course filled with everything from steeps to punchy climbs to long sections of high-speed flow.
