VIDEO: Rocky Mountain’s New Element Shreds Some Famous Singletrack

I’ll be the first to admit that I love riding long-travel bikes, especially in terrain that is anything but smooth, like the Utah desert, or the rooty steeps of the PNW. But with more and more super-capable short travel bikes popping up left and right, that preconception is changing. Enter Rocky Mountain’s all-new Element, a 120mm travel “XC” bike. Think it’s only for smooth flowy singletrack? Think again. The Whole Enchilada and Moab gnar? Absolutely. High alpine ridgelines? Can’t get enough of it. Soaking wet PNW loam chutes? More please.
