Off the coast of Northern Africa lies a small archipelago that’s home to sandy beaches, stunning volcanic peaks and warm weather all year around: the Canary Islands. It's a little bit of Hawaii in the middle of the Atlantic. Turns out it’s not just a dreamy vacation spot for beachgoers – the islands actually have some of the wildest mountain bike trails in the world. As part of his Not Far From Home video series (filmed with the intention of showcasing his local riding spots in Spain – Tenerife technically qualifies despite it being a two-hour flight across the ocean), Iago Garay gathered his friends to go shred said trails to bits and indulge in some of the best the island has to offer.

We’re pretty stoked that UCI World Cup DH racing is back on the calendar, but that’s not the only MTB action that went down over the last few days. Not all too far from Leogang, just across the border in the Czech Republic, the best urban downhill racers got together for a race of their own, through the streets of a tiny town called Dacice. Instead of the grueling 4-minute bike park battle, this urban track was relatively short but super technical, challenging all who entered. Check out Tomas
