VIDEO: Andrea Maranelli’s Bike Commute is Ludicrous

The story behind Andrea Maranelli's new trials-biking edit is that he's starting at a new job, but realizes that he needs to bike to work to avoid waiting for a delayed train. This all makes sense, leading one to expect a Fabio Wibmer-style edit where he's taking ludicrous shortcuts while leveraging trials riding skills.

However, while the edit's premise calls for Maranelli to be in a rush, his riding seems to search out obstacles to bounce around on instead of seeking shortcuts. Would riding on top of the bridge really save any time? Questionable. The edit is still chock-full of impressive riding, but might have been better served without the "oh my gosh, he's in a big rush" narrative element.
