Enjoy Some Vancouver Island Singletrack in Stunning 4K

Vancouver Island—or simply “the island” by the locals —is a destination that holds itself within mountain biking lore for its bountiful singletrack.

Deep within this ancient rainforest you’ll find a collection of the world’s finest downhill trails, and it also serves as the training ground for local World Cup racer, Kendall Mclean. As seen in Calvin Huth’s new edit, "No Bad Days," Mclean bombs through the misty trail network of Mount Prevost. The edit not only pays tribute to the area’s incredible riding, but the late World Cup champion Stevie “Chainsaw” Smith. Smith's legacy lives on through the downhill community he helped cultivate, which now produces some of world's best riders. Long live Chainsaw.

Truth be told, he may as well have left his front wheel back in Europe, because it seemingly doesn’t touch the ground once in this edit.

Watch: Epic Lady Train Sends it on Whistler’s A-Line

Five years ago Liv Cycling and Crankworx noticed something troubling; there weren’t many women hitting A-Line. It’s one of the most hyped trails in downhill riding, but due to the jumps and the intensity of the riders—it’s also one of the most intimidating. So, Liv had a wild idea: let’s shut it down just for the girls.  This resulted in one of the most beloved and popular events for women in the industry, in which they can try A-Line for three hours with confidence and support. This year's

Want To See Someone Frontflip A Road Bike?

Yup. Nitro Circus’s Todd Meyn strapped on his favorite lycra suit and roadie helmet to ride a road bike down the mega ramp. The result? A front flip no-hander. Sit back and take this one in a few times. Pretty rowdy, eh?
