Relive the Joy of Biking with Dad Through Jackson Goldstone

It goes without saying, but nobody is born with the ability to ride a bike. While riders like Cam McCaul and Casey Brown make it all look second nature, at one point most every rider began at the same starting block: On a tiny bike, with their father likely following diligently behind them hoping they didn't spill.

Whether you're a biking prodigy or just pedal recreationally, nothing beats riding with dad. Staronphoto Photo.

That initial joy of rolling on two wheels with your patriarch trailing behind you never fades, as 14-year-old biking wunderkind Jackson Gladstone shows in his new edit "Day Out with Dad."

RELATED: Watch Cam McCaul and Casey Brown become the first people to drop Corbet's on a bike

With father Ron doing his best to keep up with his prodigious progeny, Gladstone heads out to the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis resort in Austria for a day in the park. And though Ron doesn't quite build up the courage to follow his son over the bike park's cabin drop, he more than holds his own riding alongside his young ripper.

We can't really fault Ron for not wanting to follow Jackson over this cabin drop. Staronphoto Photo.

So enjoy the short edit, and then dust off your bike and give your father a call: Chances are he'd love to go on a ride with you.

After a bit of a bummer of a season, Gee Atherton showed up strong and blew away the field on race day in his backyard. Halfway down his race run, and right before the biggest road gap on the track, Atherton clipped a rock at speed, losing both pedals,
