Fact: it’s possible to find singletrack to ride all year long in the Northeast, it just requires a little bit of traveling and a keen eye for conditions. Corey Smith, who traded in the traditional comforts of home for the nomadic pleasures of #vanlife, knows exactly where to find the goods, even when winter is slowly creeping in.
This past fall, he joined some friends to rip some freshly-built singletrack in his home state of New Hampshire. The trails in question? Three new gravity trails just outside North Conway, built by Tyrol Bike Trails. With the first dusting of snow on the ground, and filmmaker Scott Barber along for the ride, the crew got after it. A bonus? The edit is shot in the RAW 100 style: no music, all shred.
