We’ll just go ahead and say it - Jackson Goldstone is on FIRE. The 18-year-old racer from Squamish is having a year for the ages, with wins at five World Cups, the Canadian Open DH, and now a blistering time to win at Red Bull Hardline 2022. In case you forgot, Hardline pits racers against one of the gnarliest tracks in the world, with huge drops and a slew of 75-plus-foot jumps. It’s a combination racing and freeriding unlike any other. Goldstone had never raced this track before, but quickly sized up the jumps during practice and learned the lines in the tech sections to beat out Joe Smith and Taylor Vernon for the top podium spot.
